On our Tromso-Kvaloya-Senja-Lofoten trip we found many places to be stunning but one was full of wilderness and unspoiled nature. Need a proof? Here are some beautiful photos of the Senja island in Norway.
A few words about Senja first. Despite the fact that Senja is still a less-travelled island among tourists in Norway, this piece of land is the second largest island in this Scandinavian country. It seems that Senja is bit in the shadows of the world-famous Lofoten islands. And you know what? It actually shouldn't be! The island is equally beautiful, the landscape is even more wild and the mountains are breathtaking! Oh man, Senja also has many hiking opportunities! Fact is, when returning to Norway, Senja will be one of the first islands we will revisit!
Here are THE PLACES we visited on the Senja island:
A great place to take some stunning pictures!
The PERFECT spot for wild camping!

You may wonder, how to access Senja? When flying into the airport of Tromso, rent a car and drive all the way to the island Kvaloya. Once you're finished exploring the island, head to Brensholmen and take the car ferry to Botnhamn. And now? Simply enjoy.
