As every year, we created a list of our trips and linked to the relevant blog posts. It was an exciting year of travels, maybe there were not as many trips as we usually used to go on, but there's a reason to that... my pregnancy :) It was not a huge limitation but due to my sickness within the first 4 months and the fact, that not all travel destinations are suitable for a pregnant woman, it affected the way and amount of travelling.
I think though, we still covered some beautiful countries, so let's see what travel destinations we have visited in 2019:

1# Lauterbrunnen, Switzerland
In January, we've spent a weekend in the winter wonderland called Lauterbrunnen in Switzerland. Not knowing, what to expect, we took our cross-country skies from home and hoped, the spot offers great conditions for this activity. Well, it turned out to be a very good idea. The slope was so cool, leading along the scenic valley with frozen waterfalls and gigantic mountains. A place we can recommend to everyone who loves cross-country skiing!
2# Rovaniemi, Finland
In the beginning of March, we flew to one of our favorite countries in Europe - Finland. This time, the trip took us to the northern part of the country, which goes by the name Lapland. It was a dream coming true! We could finally go husky-and reindeer sledding, snowmobiling... and we visited glass igloos and the arctic snow hotel. Amazing experience. Check out the blog posts listed below.

3# Bucharest, Romania
In April, it was time for a girls trip to Bucharest, Romania! We walked down the streets and entered many cafes and restaurants - on one hand because they seemed to be appealing from the outside, on the other side, we did it, because it was raining all time hehe...Despite the bad weather, I really liked the city and I could imagine coming back one day to explore even more of it. I promise, I will write about this trip really soon.

4# Jeruzalem, Slovenia
Why not exploring a new part in Slovenia, which we haven't visited yet? With this thought, we booked the Taverna B&B in Jeruzalem and drove to this remote region in the northeastern part of our home country. Once there, we enjoyed cycling around the wine region, sipping some great wine, having dinner and watching the sunset. It was just a perfect getaway!

5# Ticino, Switzerland
Ticino was a press trip in May, which turned out to be one of the highlights in our blogger career (let's say apart from the surf camp in Fuerteventura last year). The hotel offered us 2 nights for free and it turned out to be such a great place to stay! It was not too fancy so we didn't feel like we don't fit in there...it just had one adventurous couple would dream of. A room with balcony and stunning view, delicious & healthy breakfast, botanical garden with hammocks everywhere, huge terrace with cozy chairs, mini golf, a guitar, piano... a funky rental car. So cool! And it was perfectly located, so we could do some day-trips and explore the surrounding region. Check out the blog posts listed below.
6# Merano, Italy
Another trip with our bikes! End of May, we drove all the way to Merano, Italy and spent some lovely days cycling and admiring the vineyards and the beautiful mountains. One day, we also went hiking and soaked up many beautiful views along the hiking path.
7# Cork & Around - Ireland
Ireland was another beautiful girls trip in July! It's always fun to travel with friends and spend some quality time with them. After Puerto Rico and Bucharest, we chose to fly to Ireland - one of the first countries I felt in love with at the beginning of my travel career :) It was good to be back. But I must confess - it was totally different to explore this country than the first time but nothing less great! Just another feeling, that's it.

8# Hamburg, Germany
Hamburg was a trip I did in August with my brother. Finally we made it and went on a trip together! We both explored Hamburg with our parents when we were little, but this fact didn't stop us from revisiting it. After Hamburg, we also stopped in Bremen. I haven't written about it yet, but I'm planning to outline a blog post soon. Stay tuned.

Oman was on our list for a long time, and this year in September we finally managed to visit it. It offered exactly all, what we imagined to experience and even more. Swimming with whale sharks, spending a night in the desert, watching turtles laying eggs, breathing Omani's mountain air and bathing in refreshing Wadis. Great memories!
10# Lanzarote, The Canary Islands
Hey, greetings from Lanzarote :) It's the end of the year 2019, to be precise, the 27th of December and we are already exploring our 3rd Canary Island. A great winter escape. We are located just at the seaside, therefore we are spoiled with magnificent sunrise moments, like the one below (no filter applied!). Read more about Lanzarote in the blog post below.

BABY! :) Don't worry, travelling doesn't stop with a baby. It will be different, but the passion for travelling will remain. Among all, there will be some family destinations like South Africa, Portugal, US, and hopefully some couple destinations...maybe Costa Rica, Rwanda or Svalbard etc. Not booked yet, but something like that :)
